Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Orthopaedics/Spine at Williamson Health. Full-time days. Responsibilities include administering medications under TN licensure, maintaining sterile field and assisting with procedures, documenting accurately, and communicating with physicians and team members. Must respond to hospital within 30 minutes for on-call, have at least one year of direct patient care experience, and operate Meditech and related equipment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; RCIS preferred (within 6 months of hire) or TN state licensure; BLS within 90 days; ability to transport patients and handle urgent/emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RCIS preferred (must have within 6 month of hire) or TN state licensure that allows for the administration of medication
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for on call requirements
- At least one year of direct patient care experience
- Proficient use of Meditech computer system, Site Rite, guidewires, catheters and other necessary supplies
