Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care as part of the interdisciplinary team for ortho-med-surg patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care with other health-team members, and ensure care aligns with guidelines, licensure provisions, and documentation standards. Lead and participate in timely, education-informed care planning, delegation, and collaboration to optimize patient outcomes, while maintaining regulatory compliance andongoing professional development. Requires an active RN license and BLS; BSN is required as of the update date for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
- Compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start of employment.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; BSN required as of 4/27/2025 per job description update.
