Job Summary
Lead orthopedic postoperative care by implementing specialized nursing plans that prioritize pain management, wound integrity, and the return of safe mobility. Coordinate with surgeons, physical therapists, and other specialists to ensure every treatment aligns with the patient’s long-term functional goals. Monitor patient progress to ensure a safe, complication-free recovery and empower patients and their support systems through education and discharge planning for a successful transition back to daily life.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
