Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients in the OR, assessing conditions, recognizing deviations, and evaluating progress while delegating tasks to other staff. Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals, utilizing critical thinking skills to plan and record pertinent observations. Work the 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift on Saturdays and Sundays with minimal call requirements. This part-time role at Endeavor Health supports a fully integrated healthcare system delivering quality, community-connected care across northeast Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
- 7p to 7a Sat & Sun
- Part time
