Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients on weekends and nights, assessing conditions, recognizing deviations, and planning and evaluating care while monitoring progress. Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Render care with critical thinking skills and record pertinent observations. Requires current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS certifications within ninety days. Part-time schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
- 7p to 7a Sat & Sun
