Job Summary
Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions while managing overall nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Directly assist the operating physician with surgical tasks and prepare operating rooms and instruments for use. This role involves delivering professional nursing care in the operative setting at Goshen Hospital's state-of-the-art surgical suites. Candidates must have two or more years of OR RN experience, valid Indiana licensure, and an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing degree. On-call rotation is required, and colleagues with an associate degree must enter a BSN program within 12 months unless exempt by extensive experience.
Required Qualifications
- Two+ (2+) years of experience as an RN in the operating room
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- RN licensure from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency
- Flexibility to pick up on-call on a rotating schedule
