Administer medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy, including blood administration. Provide patient and family education while assisting in discharge planning, considering readiness barriers and alternatives. Collaborate effectively with the health care team to escalate situations and promote patient safety through adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.
