Job Summary
Provide afternoon shift care from 1:45pm to 10:15pm for residents at Crest Nursing Home, ensuring appropriate care for age-related needs. Relate resident condition updates to the nurse or supervisor while maintaining a supportive team presence. Demonstrate patience and tact when handling difficult residents, adhering to a schedule that includes a full-time commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate in good standing from an accredited nursing program
- one to two years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed LPN or RN
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition to nurse or supervisor
- Must be CPR certified
