Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse at Pelican Valley Senior Living, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident conditions, providing work direction to nursing assistants, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a customer-first attitude, and a collaborative approach. Candidates must be licensed as an RN or LPN in Minnesota and have the ability to obtain CPR certification within 6 months.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota.
- Must obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
- Must complete and pass a state required background study.
- Maintain own educational competency.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers as a team and individually.
- Ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with the elderly in long-term care, home care or assisted living settings is preferred.
