Job Summary
Conduct specialized nursing care for residents with dementia in a memory care unit, performing services requiring substantial judgment and skill under RN direction. Deliver activity-based care to help individuals maintain dignity, purpose, and functional ability while monitoring progression of cognitive symptoms. Provide gerontological nursing support with a focus on supervision techniques and safe patient handling. This part-time day role offers evening and weekend differentials, a sign-on bonus for RNs, and access to full benefits including 403(b) retirement and time off. Located in Middlebury, VT, the facility provides a home-like environment with certified Medicare and Medicaid services.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required
- Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required
- Able to read, write, and speak the English language
- BLS certification
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area
