Registered Nurse OR

Provide preoperative evaluation and perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, including patient preparation (IV therapy, preoperative medications, surgical site verification), pre- and post-operative patient/family education, participation in sterile and safety protocols, and collaboration with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Responsibilities include coordinating with surgeons, surgical technologists, and unit leadership, applying the nursing process with critical thinking, recognizing and responding to patient emergencies, documenting changes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. On-call is required during select non-business hours.
