Job Summary
Nurse on the Surgical 3B unit provides patient care using the nursing process, coordinates care with other departments, and supports pre- and post-surgical needs (GI, Urology, ENT). Works 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with rotational weekends. Eligible for multiple sign-on bonuses based on experience, plus education assistance, loan forgiveness, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance for full-time hires. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. The unit emphasizes telemetry, wound and ostomy care, chest tubes, NG tubes, and comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced surgical telemetry environment. Required Qualifications
- Graduate or upcoming Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
