Job Summary
Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse for a 7D Medical Telemetry unit. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating care effectiveness of direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Unit handles chronic and acute diagnoses with telemetry and cardiac care, including potential involvement with cath lab procedures, angiograms, EGD, colonoscopy, and anticoagulation therapies. The role offers 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with rotational weekends, sign-on bonuses for various experience levels, education assistance, relocation support for full-time, weekend and shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits from day one. Required Qualifications
- Graduate or upcoming Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
