Registered Nurse - Operating Room in Chicago, IL, full-time days (3 am - 11:30 pm) with call requirements. Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintaining competency; guiding staff; ensuring safety and asepsis; documenting in Epic; conducting surgical counts; handling and passing instruments to the surgeon; and promoting professional growth. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and an Illinois nursing license; CPR certification is required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP potentially required within six months depending on unit.
