Job Summary
Renders professional nursing care in the operating room by assessing patient conditions, recognizing deviations, and planning and evaluating care while monitoring progress and recording observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Requires current Illinois RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications, with PALS within ninety days. Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in Elmhurst, IL. Endeavor Health serves over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties with eight acute care hospitals recognized for nursing excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
- M-F 6:45a to3:15p
- Call Requirements (including Days, Nights, Holidays)
