Job Summary
Administer medications, manage IV lines, and triage patient concerns in an operating room setting for fertility procedures. Assist with oocyte retrievals, cyst aspirations, and surgical cases while monitoring post-op recovery. Prepare patients for procedures and maintain accurate health care records. Participate in staff development and continuing education to maintain expertise. Requires critical care, OR, or PACU experience and active RN license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one year of technical training
- Must be a graduate of an approved registered nursing program
- Critical care, Labor and Delivery, OR, or PACU experience required
- Active State Registered Nurse License
- CPR/BLS
- ACLS
- Medical Terminology
- Demonstrate proficiency in injections
- Demonstrate proficiency in venipunctures
- Demonstrate proficiency in administering oral medications
- Time management skills
- PACU recovery experience required
