Job Summary
Prepares and assists in delivering nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. The Registered Nurse – OR assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and center policies during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. Requires graduated nursing program, active RN license, CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of surgical patient care experience (pre-, intra-, post-operative). Part-time schedule with varying days and shifts (2 eight-hour shifts and 1 nine-hour shift). ASC experience is preferred. Responsibilities center on providing skilled nursing care in a surgical environment and adhering to policies while ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.,
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- current state RN License
- CPR required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative surgical patient care
- ASC experience preferred
