Job Summary
Execute scrub functions, including selection and sterile handling of instrumentation and supplies. Execute circulator functions, including monitoring, documentation, and real-time communication. Partner with surgeons to facilitate hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and optimal patient positioning. Oversee the preparation and sterilization of rooms, surgical instruments, and high-tech equipment. Deliver nursing care while maintaining a focus on safety, sterility, and clinical outcomes in Surgical Services at Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital. Requires Maryland RN licensure, AMLS, and BLS certification. Full-time days schedule with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
