Job Summary
Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including preoperative assessments and patient education. Ensure a sterile and safe surgical environment by adhering to infection control and patient safety protocols. Provide intraoperative nursing care, including monitoring patients, assisting surgeons, and managing surgical instruments. Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Perform post-anesthesia care and assist with patient recovery as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and surgical procedures. Respond quickly and effectively to surgical emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of [Insert State]
