Job Summary
Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction in the Main OR, triaging incoming requests and administering medications and treatments as needed. Deliver patient education to facilitate care plans and wellness, while delegating tasks according to Colorado statute. Handle high telephone volumes for medication and assistance requests, coordinate care with physicians and other practices, and advocate for patient preferences through Relationship-Based Care. Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing the da Vinci robotic system to support orthopedic cases. Requires one year of OR experience, Colorado RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One year operating room experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree
