Registered Nurse Operating Room

Evaluate patients prior to surgery, provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process, and assume responsibility for patient preparation including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification. Participate in surgical site verification protocols, recognize and respond to patient emergencies, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices. Assess patient condition, monitor throughout your shift, and document changes in patient condition along with the care provided thoroughly. This full-time role requires Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment and must include OR experience. Self-preferential scheduling is posted four weeks in advance, with on-call required during select non-business hours.
