Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Operating Room provides perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, collaborating with the interprofessional team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care. Responsibilities include following policies and procedures, assessing patients, developing and evaluating care plans, orienting/new staff, supporting patient flow, coordinating clinical pathways, and contributing to safety and quality improvements. Requires RN in Ontario, BCLS, and operating room experience; BScN preferred; ACLS/CPN preferred. Hybrid, in-person role in Newmarket, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in Ontario (CNO in good standing)
- BCLS certificate
- ACLS certificate (preferred)
- BScN preferred
- Perioperative nursing experience (3 years preferred)
- CPN certification preferred
