Job Summary
Oversee daily patient flow within the OR suite to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction. Deliver patient education, administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines. Demonstrate competent clinical assessment skills by functioning independently, prioritizing tasks, and delegating care appropriately per Colorado statutes. Complete patient charting including pathology and tissue tracking, assist in patient positioning and transport, and review paperwork for accuracy. Advocate for patient preferences through Relationship-Based Care and model Just Culture principles. Requires one year of OR experience, Colorado RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Hourly pay ranges from $43.43 to $69.28.
Required Qualifications
- One year operating room experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
