Respond to changes in clinical situations using acquired nursing knowledge, research, and experience. Apply the AACN Synergy Model for Care to personalize patient and family care while serving as a resource to colleagues and an advocate. Function as Charge Nurse when assigned, orienting staff or students in the absence of a designated preceptor. Collect, report, and analyze data for physicians and interdisciplinary teams in accordance with organization standards. Reevaluate patient care documentation effectiveness and utilize surveys and focus groups to identify areas for improvement. Maintain position through PLAN clinical lattice points and achieve required contact hours. Requires 12 months of recent nursing experience, valid Georgia nursing license, and BLS certification.
