Registered Nurse- Operating Room

Operating Room Registered Nurse (Circulating Nurse) supports intraoperative patient care outside the sterile field, coordinating the surgical team to maintain a safe, efficient OR environment and serving as the patient advocate. Responsibilities include preoperative and intraoperative assessment, developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient positioning and equipment, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting quality improvement and compliance initiatives. Hours are Full-time, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (hours may vary). Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, unrestricted RN license, and BLS certification (ACLS within 6 months). No nights, weekends, holidays, or call. Center located in Newport News, VA, within Coastal Virginia Surgery Center network; ORs support Orthopedics, Spine, Podiatry and Pain Management with a collaborative, patient-centered care approach.
