Job Summary
Deliver patient care through the nursing process across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases for the surgical patient. Assist with planning of care, executing surgical nursing duties, maintaining aseptic technique, documenting accurately, and anticipating the surgeon's needs. Requires RN licensure in IL, an associate degree in nursing, BLS/PALS/ACLS, and two years of operating room circulating experience. Works under the supervision of the Operating Room Manager and provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License - IL
- Current American Heart Assn. BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications
- Two years of operating room circulating experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center
