Job Summary
The Registered Nurse Operating Room (Circulating Nurse) provides skilled nursing care through patient assessment and evaluation, monitors patients during pre-operative and post-operative stages, and acts as an advocate for patient care. Knowledge of patient privacy, surgical risks, medications, and diagnostic measures is essential. Must complete accurate medical records and ensure infection control. Requires current RN license in New Jersey, BLS certification, and organizational skills. ACLS is requested but not mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Registered Nurse Program
- BLS Required
- Current unrestricted State of New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
