Job Summary
Registered Nurse role on Oncology Med-Surg 4400 in Rochester, NY. Provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical care including initial and ongoing patient assessments, documentation of plans of care, medication administration, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and adherence to safety and policy protocols. Maintains BLS certification; pursuing chemotherapy certification through Oncology Nursing Society (RRH covers certification); uses and cares for patients on CADD pumps; participates in clinical research utilization forms and continuing education hours; supports nursing research and quality improvement activities. Requires NYS RN license and a Nursing degree (AS/ Diploma); part-time evening/night schedule with every other weekend and holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
