Registered Nurse Oncology - Part Time Days

Job Summary
To coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care in a timely and accurate manner. Provides comprehensive nursing assessments, plans individualized patient care, administers medications and treatments, and ensures patient teaching, discharge planning, and post-discharge needs. Maintains documentation, adheres to policy and competency standards, and supports unit-specific care delivery across Adult Medical/Surgical, Pediatric Medical/Surgical, Critical Care, Oncology, and Emergency services. Demonstrates ability to work under pressure, perform cardiopulmonary and emergency protocols (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NVCI, TNCC/ENPC where applicable), and continuously contribute to a healing and therapeutic environment while upholding Williamson Health values.
Required Qualifications
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed in the State of Tennessee
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- NVCI certification within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- ONS chemo/immunotherapy certification within one year of hire (Oncology track)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (where applicable)
- TNCC preferred (Adult Emergency Room track)
- PALS within 6 months of hire (Pediatric Emergency Room track)
- ENPC or TNCC within 6 months of hire (Pediatric Emergency Room track)
- ADDITIONAL track-specific certifications as outlined by unit (Telemetry, Critical Care, Oncology, Emergency, Pediatric ER)
