Job Summary
Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the oncology department, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice while assuming full responsibility and accountability for nursing outcomes. Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care, ensuring positive contributions to safety outcomes and promoting a high-quality patient experience. Requires current Illinois nursing licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and an ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate obtained within nine months. Full-time role involves Monday-Friday shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
- BLS/CPR certification
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
- 1 year experience
