Registered Nurse Oncology Inpatient Hospice

Job Summary
Deliver specialized, dignified care for oncology and end-of-life patients by monitoring complex symptoms, managing pain, and executing clinical protocols with precision. Coordinate the "circle of care" between oncologists, palliative specialists, and chaplains to ensure holistic treatment, while educating families on disease progression and coordinating discharge or transition plans. Advocate for patient quality of life by providing real-time insights to the care team for rapid, compassionate adjustments. Full-time night shift, three 12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:00am. Requires BLS certification within 30 days and Oklahoma RN licensure; preferred Chemotherapy certification.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
