Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care for oncology patients, performing direct patient care and patient/family education across transitions of care. Practice within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model with accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. Provide leadership through activities such as preceptor roles and contributing to quality improvement initiatives; mentor and teach colleagues and participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as part of role responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in applicable state
- VisaScreen or equivalent certification
