Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on the Oncology 5500 Unit, managing a patient population with cancer, blood disorders, and diabetes at a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. Deliver comprehensive medical and surgical interventions to patients preparing for or recovering from treatment while maintaining a dedicated home unit environment. Obtain or maintain American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications within 90 days of hire. This full-time role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with at least one year of experience and offers cross-training opportunities across eight specialty units within the Med Surg Service Line.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Must meet state board requirements
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- ACLS certification
