Job Summary
Obtain data on physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors impacting patient and family needs, initiating interdisciplinary interventions as appropriate. Initiate communication with attending physicians and other agencies to coordinate optimal care. Perform clinical pronouncements of death while providing support to families. Maintain accurate clinical records through timely preparation of care plans and progress notes. Work weekends only, Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 12:30 AM, covering the Deerfield, Northbrook, Des Plaines, and Glenview, IL territory.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Possession of a current license to practice in the state as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
- Demonstrated skill in nursing practices and clinical judgments
- Ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles
- Must possess current CPR Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
