Job Summary
Registered Nurse On-Call in the Operating Room. Weekend on-call position (Friday 1530 to Monday 0700, including holidays) with a 40-hour salaried schedule. Provides nursing care across the life span, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and document patient care. Works with ancillary staff to maintain professional nursing standards, assists in performance improvement, ensures regulatory compliance with applicable Nurse Practice Acts (NJ/PA), and maintains unit records. Requires Operating Room experience, an active RN license in NJ or PA, and BLS certification; may float as needed per unit and hospital policy. Emphasis on collaboration, care planning, and delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Operating Room experience required
- Current RN license in the State of New Jersey or Pennsylvania, based on work location
- BLS certification
- Must be able to float as needed per unit and hospital policy
- One year medical/surgical experience preferred
