Job Summary
Provide on-call nursing care during evening and overnight hours for patients and families in the Elkin and Wilkes service area. Respond to patient needs with skilled assessment, sound clinical judgment, and compassionate care while offering guidance and reassurance to caregivers. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and document all interactions accurately. Maintain a calm, confident presence during urgent situations, working independently within a supportive clinical framework. This role offers a predictable, consistent schedule with competitive compensation and a provided fleet vehicle for business use.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to a supportive team
- Calm, confident presence during urgent or after-hours situations
- Schedule: Friday 5:00pm-8:00am, Saturday, Sunday, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
- Predictable, consistent on-call schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Hospice or home health experience preferred, but not required
