Job Summary
Assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients, with a focus on hematology/oncology populations. Evaluate patient needs and conditions while maintaining calm and effective responses during emergency situations. Maintain IV therapy skills and current CPR certification, obtaining BLS within 30 days if not held at hire. Travel to clinics as needed using a valid driver's license. This role requires OCN certification and strong critical thinking abilities. FCS is a leading clinical research organization offering access to ground-breaking therapies and national clinical trials.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence
- experience in IV therapy
- Valid OCN Certification
- The ability to assess patient needs and condition
- Strong critical thinking skills
- the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Current CPR certification
- BLS
- Fluency in the English language
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- Valid drivers license for travel to clinics
