Job Summary
Registered Nurse-Occupational Health role in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include providing injury management support and occupational health guidance in coordination with Risk Management; overseeing triage for all medical cases at the site clinic; conducting physical examinations, clinical assessments, and diagnostic procedures; coordinating laboratory work, diagnostic testing, and imaging; participating in project/clinical meetings; ensuring medical equipment is functional and maintained; managing inventories, drugs, and supplies, and maintaining a compliant drug register; immunizing employees; maintaining EMR with confidentiality; tracking patient status across facilities and performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of clinic equipment; and performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Team Leader. Requires an AS Nursing with active AZ RN license, BLS/ACLS, OHSA knowledge, and extensive occupational health experience, with strong emergency medicine/trauma skills and clinic-management background. Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree of Nursing
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Mental Health First Aid Instructor certification or equivalent
- Occupational Health qualification or significant experience
- Post Graduate Occupational Health qualification or significant experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
- Certification as Nurse Practitioner by ANCC/AANP (as applicable)
- Minimum of 3 years’ clinic management experience in remote locations
- Experience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment
- Ability to administer immunizations and manage EMR in accordance with confidentiality standards
