Job Summary
Assess patients' medical status upon admission and recognize physical and psychological needs at Holy Rosary Obstetrics. Develop individualized treatment plans, oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs, and participate in clinical team conferences. Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines while utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and therapeutic interventions. Manage patient transfers and equipment with full range of movement, navigate crowded rooms, and perform frequent verbal communication with providers and visitors. Requires current Montana RN license, BLS certification, and NRP within 18 months of hire. Full-time 36-hour schedule involving nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Montana RN license
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- NRP within 18 months of hire
- STABLE within 2 years of hire
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends
- Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Ability to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
Desired Qualifications
- One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting
