Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for obstetrics patients while overseeing LPNs and CNAs. Recognize and address physical and psychological needs, assist in developing individualized treatment plans, and comply with evaluation and documentation guidelines. Participate in clinical team conferences and foster continuity of care with the well-being of patients and families in mind. Requires current Montana RN license, BLS certification, and NRP within 18 months of hire. Full-time 36-hour schedule with variable shifts including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Montana RN license
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
- NRP within 18 months of hire
- STABLE within 2 years of hire
- Regular attendance to perform work on site during regularly scheduled business hours or scheduled shifts
- Ability to work nights and/or weekends
- Ability to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Ability to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Ability to bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment up to and including heavy items
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
Desired Qualifications
- One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting
