Registered Nurse - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Provide and coordinate patient care while educating patients and families about health conditions. Assess patients' needs, implement medical plans, and perform systematic assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and care outcomes. Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, and escalate issues as required. Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products while monitoring for reactions. Perform essential life support including BLS, PALS, ACLS, and neonatal resuscitation. Manage wound care, assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures, and prepare patients for examinations. Create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team. Facilitate safe admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Maintain clinical skills and employ strategies to promote a safe environment.
