Job Summary
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per shift basis under the direction of the unit manager. Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated while ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Support the Chief Nursing Officer regarding clinical staff competency and resource management. This 20-bed Observation unit specializes in telemetry, stroke, and ACLS, with most patients staying less than 24 hours. Requires a Registered Nurse license with less than one year of experience.
