Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans for OBGYN participants, prioritizing workload based on clinical needs and desired outcomes. Initiate and execute appropriate patient care guidelines while documenting interventions, teaching, and family responses to care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to identify caregiver needs, recommend interventions, and revise care plans as necessary. Perform technical skills in accordance with departmental policies and standards of practice, including accurately receiving, interpreting, and executing physician orders. Supervise delegated care and function in relief charge or resource roles as requested. Maintain current knowledge in the area of practice and demonstrate organizational awareness.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- Certified Breast Care Nurse (ONCC)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Registered Nurse
- Current Ohio licensure
- Knowledge of the specialty or population served
- Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team
- 1-2 years experience in Nursing
