Job Summary
Provide obstetrical evaluations and testing for pregnant patients; triage complaints and communicate findings to the advanced practice provider or physician for further evaluation or treatment; facilitate complete workup and throughput to home or admission to Labor and Delivery for treatment and delivery; discharge education to patients specific to pregnancy-related concerns and plan additional treatment as needed; role requires RN licensure and obstetrical/Labor and Delivery experience; certifications include ALS within 6 months, BLS within 1 month, and PALS within 6 months, with STABLE certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RN Licensure required prior to hire
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire
- BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire
- ALS required within 180 days of hire
- PALS required within 180 days of hire
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
- Labor and Delivery RN experience required
- Certification in obstetric specialty or related credentials preferred
