Registered Nurse

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans during the intra-operative phase while communicating between operating room and outside staff. Ensure complete documentation on patient charts, complete safety checklists with signatures, and verify that supplies, medications, and equipment are clean and functional. Maintain sterile technique, assist scrub tech and surgeon, and ensure patient comfort through proper positioning and padding. Demonstrate ability to pre-op and recover patients based on staffing patterns, receive brief reports from pre-op RN, assist anesthesiologist in transfers, and provide brief reports to PACU RN. Clean the OR after surgery with the CST, set up rooms for next cases, and assist in surgery suite preparation. Report low stock levels to Clinical Nursing Supervisor or Facility Manager. Complete all required forms and logs as appropriate.
