Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, managing trauma levels up to and including Level 1. Deliver top-of-scope practice using the nursing process while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Complete orientation cohorts that pivot from novice to expert theory, supported by clinical educators for competency validation. This onsite night shift role at Poudre Valley Hospital and affiliated North ED facilities includes a Night Shift Incentive Program offering $1,600 quarterly after orientation. Full-time employees earn a Three Year Incentive Bonus upon completion of three years of tenure.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Registered Nurse
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
- Trauma Nurse Core Course
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
