Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients on the cardiac progressive care unit in Augusta. Coordinate patient care activities for assigned staff while maintaining standards of practice within organizational policies. Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, ensuring professional growth and accountability. Full-time night shift with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS required; ACLS certification needed within 180 days for specialty units.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
- Mother/Baby- NRP
- NICU- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty
- Full-time employment
