Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation). Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe and reliable resident care. Requires licensure as an RN (state-board licensure or multi-state compact as applicable) and a nursing program credential; preferable graduates from nationally accredited programs (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA). Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, and NLN CNEA
