Registered Nurse - Nursery - Regular Time (0.75FTE) - Days w/Call (UTICA, NY)

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and evaluate quality patient care while establishing personal rapport with patients and families. Provide teaching on disease processes, medications, and self-care skills, and offer emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to ensure patient independence. Adhere to infection control policies, medication regulations, and universal precautions to protect patients and employees. Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and manage nursing supplies inventory against PAR levels. Document patient care accurately and timely, communicate care plans to the nursing team, and participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital-wide teams. Perform other duties as required while meeting all department competencies and training requirements.
