Job Summary
Registered Nurse Nuclear Medicine providing patient-centered care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include assessing the patient during admission and each shift, performing procedures and monitoring as ordered by providers, thorough documentation in the medical record, administering prescribed medications and monitoring therapeutic responses, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Collaborates with medical providers and care teams to ensure quality outcomes and aligns with established nursing models and standards of practice in nuclear medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
